Helen Frances Ray

Helen didn't know she had any creativity until she was in her 50's.  She wanted to have a small business but had no idea what it would entail. The desire has been fulfilled by way of her soap-making business called Pleasant Moments by HFR. She took a course in soap-making (melt and pour type) and from there, bought many books on the subject and experimented along the way. All of the soaps that she makes are glycerin-based with additives such as oatmeal, herbs and essential oils. Helen makes over twenty-one types, but says  her favorites are: chocolate mint, coffee, fennel, hemp seed oil, lemongrass, orange patchouli, orange spearmint, rose geranium, shea butter with raw African black soap, tea tree oil and tomato.
